Singlewire has 43 employees, we're based in Madison, Wisconsin and we have more than thirty-five hundred customers in forty-five countries. Singlewire makes mass notifications software. When there's an emergency and you need to reach as many people as quickly as possible. That's what we do.
Some of the feedback that we've gotten from our customers are that once we see your solution we can understand its valued proposition and we're much more likely to invest in that. Customers which we just describe the solution, or they read a white paper, or just see an internet video, It's not enough, it's not compelling enough.
We were excited when we saw the new solutions from Cisco. We found that we could integrate them into our environment and they would work on a network of our size.
The way we used to do demonstrations was a lot of travel, it was a heavy case being lugged through airports, baggage fees, strained back etc. When we looked at everything, we decided on tele-presence. It's a very immersive, transformive experience. It's like being there. And in many ways Plus, it's better than being there.
You have all of those visual cues. You're able to read the person's body language, able to see if they're looking right at you, or even blinking. can read their reactions, so you can really adjust the way that you're presenting to them on the fly very effectively.
We have a monthly service that provides everything that we need. And we don't have to purchase additional infrastructure. If a customer has an important deal, we can be there today. And that's huge for us. We can be more nimble, we can provision the system. easily, we can expand the system easily.
We're also surprised by how easy it is to connect with other people in the world. They don't necessarily even have to be using the same service that we are.
In our demonstration, in a room. We have a number of use-case scenarios set up by vertical industry. And we have the ability to zoom in on our solution as it's set up on the different shelving units and on the table and so forth.
If we had to manage video within our environment. We would have to worry about firewall configurations, both on our side and on the customer's side. Since we use hosted tele-presence,we can figure that on our side and it doesn't really matter what the customer is using on the other side.
As a smaller firm, we're always trying to look bigger than we are and we call that puffer fish strategy. TelePresence has helped us do that because it makes us look like a very serious professional firm.
We've only had TelePresence in our environment for three months. We've had great feedback from our salespeople. We've had great feedback from our customers.
We had our best sales month ever this past month, and we attribute that in a large part to TelePresence.
