Nursing Workflow - Message Confirmation in Healthcare

The new message confirmation feature in InformaCast 8.1 allows users to send notification and receive confirmation that their message has been received.
New with InformaCast 8.1 is message confirmation. This feature allows organizations to send critical workflow notification to staff and receive confirmation back that it’s been handled. This type of notification is crucial to a number of industries including healthcare.
In a healthcare example, a nurse supervisor sends out the message to a group of staff members, “Can you assist in room 309?” The supervisor can customize the response options given, which may include choices like “Yes, I’ve got it!” “No, I’m unable to respond,” or “I can respond soon.”
When an individual responds with and affirmative answer, the supervisor immediately knows that the appropriate action is being taken.
At the same time, a receipt confirmation also goes out to everyone else in the group, letting them know that someone else has acknowledged and responded to the situation.
In the event that no one responds to the original message, InformaCast allows the sender to set-up an automatic escalation, which can include sending an additional broadcast, sending an overhead page, or sending notification to a new recipient group.
